Kev is now running 3 hour training sessions for intermediate and advanced gundogs only. Prices from £50.

These short sessions are designed for the intermediate advanced gundog in training or novice handlers who are new to gundog training etc. The session's are held on actuall shoots across Lancashire and Cheshire where it is possible to simulate actual shooting scenarios. Kev will work with you to prepare for the season and advice not only on training but what is involved in the shoot day itself.

Kev is a qualified instructor with the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers  and specilises in gundog training but also helping dogs with behavioural problems

Kev’s fabulous training grounds gives us a great opportunity to develop the dogs hunting skills .. and HPR’s really do need plenty of room to run! Add into the mix a few game birds and rabbits for the occasional point, and remote launchers for some testing retrieves and you have HPR training heaven. Kev never fails to impress with his skilled observations of handler and dog and those irritating training glitches are soon ironed out. Training is always at the dogs pace, reward based and undertaken in a relaxed atmosphere .. so vital for ensuring a positive learning experience for man and dog .
